Tourists

I’ve stayed here three times in different seasons. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the rooms are lovely. Summers are great for the outdoor pool and showers, while fall brings foliage and fires outside. It’s an ideal one-night escape from the city for us, but there isn’t much immediately nearby beyond Mass MoCA and outdoor activities, so spending several days could be hard. Room service is excellent. You can text in drink and snack orders and have them brought anywhere on the property. We had breakfast onsite, which was tasty but a little overpriced. I’d love it if they added a sauna or hot tub.

The room floor was oddly sticky throughout. Service felt rushed and understaffed, with one person covering both the front desk and lounge, which made things chaotic. The walls were also very thin, so we could clearly hear the neighboring room’s TV and conversations. Food and drinks were extremely expensive, even compared with NYC. Basic brewed coffee cost $18, and unfortunately the food was very bland. I’d recommend dining elsewhere. I travel frequently as a Hyatt Globalist, and hope this feedback helps improve the overall guest experience.

This is a special place in a peaceful location, with immaculate rooms and a high level of service. The staff go above and beyond. I’ve stayed in plenty of boutique hotels, and this is one of the very best I’ve experienced.

We had a lovely night here. The setting was very peaceful, and it was easy to get to key museums in the Berkshires. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, then spent time around the fire pit meeting and chatting with others. The room was a bit basic, but that was fine for us. We also liked the short hiking trails starting from the hotel. Everyone we interacted with was personable and helpful.
