Westview Motel

The price had jumped from $85 last month to $211. That’s more than double, and I felt like they robbed me. The staff were nasty, and I had such a frustrating time trying to make a quick stop. They told me “no short stays,” even though I know that isn’t always the case, and it felt like they didn’t want my business. Sometimes you just need somewhere to crash, whatever it costs, but this was so disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were clean, but the shower was awful. It took 15 minutes to get even lukewarm water, and the pressure was almost nonexistent. They also don’t offer late checkout.

For the same price, there are plenty of better places in NJ. The service here was the worst, and on top of that, they lied.

I paid $120 a night, yet they charged $5 for a remote and another $5 for extra toiletries and towels. Ridiculous. It was too late to find an AIRbnb when I checked in, but I don’t want to return if I can avoid it. At least there’s a 24 hour 7/11, with Walmart and Wing Stop next door. You can shop and get all the takeout you want to forget the gross, nightmare experience at this “motel.”
