Wickford Motor Inn

The front desk response to my complaints was dismissive. The man said he'd already been paid, so I would have to contact booking.com, and he was very rude about it. I wasn't offered another room, cleaning, or even an apology. When I got to my room at the Wickford motor inn, there were hair clippings on the bathroom floor and gnats by the sink, so it seemed like it hadn't been properly cleaned before I arrived. Cleanliness and basic service matter for a comfortable stay, and I was disappointed not to get either. I hope management takes this seriously so future guests have a better experience.

It's a lovely old inn without frills. I'll make this my go-to for business in wickford and Rhode Island.

The room and its carpet both had a strange smell, and the bathroom door wouldn't close right. There was no daily room service. Easton’s Beach was a good distance away, which was the one upside. I'd only stay here for a single night.

We did get a refund, but the stay still wasn't worth what we paid. There were burn marks on the carpet, the hallway smelled weird, and the front desk service was rude. The room wasn't clean, with stains and hairs on the sheets. I knew it was an overnight stay with no frills, but the bed could at least have been clean.
