Oyster Estate

The location is ideal, with plenty of parking, and we really enjoy the outdoor space and the free bikes. The rooms and grounds are clean, and the employees are so nice. When you need something, you can text and they bring it to your room within minutes. This was our second stay and we have no complaints, though it was a bummer that the restaurant and bar were closed this time for some reason. We’ll be back!

The staff really came through when I had a job interview and let me check in two hours early. I got the job, so I owe this hotel a lot! I’ve stayed here a few times because the location is convenient and the pool is lovely. It’s an old-school motel with some updates, including good mattresses and nice bathroom products. Shops and restaurants in town are an easy walk away.

Coffee in the lobby was the cherry on top, and the Main Street in town is only a few minutes away on foot. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean, with a lovely pool area and cute little fire pits for hanging out at night. I booked at the last minute for a motorcycle trip from the city. They made room for me, welcomed me warmly when I arrived early, and looked after me like family. Thank you to the general manager, Raheem at the front desk, and the whole Greenporter Hotel team for making the trip special. I was blown away and can’t wait to return.

The young woman who checked us in Friday afternoon was very nice. Other things became harder to overlook the longer we stayed: housekeeping didn’t take care of something we asked about, and when we asked to have the fire pit lit, first we were told it was too late, though it wasn’t, then the explanation changed to a mechanical issue. The loaner bike also had steering problems. I wanted to like the place.
