Tahoe Sands Resort

The first impression was great, and we’ll keep this place in mind for future visits. The staff are extremely friendly, and the resort has plenty of amenities. Free popcorn is hard to beat! There are kayak rentals, board games, a kids' activity club, volleyball, and more.

The rooms were lovely, clean, and well appointed, and the service was great. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We could cook meals and host family in the two-bedroom unit, and we enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Thank you, Tahoe Sands Resort!

Our two-bedroom condo fit our family of six well, and the kitchenette was a big plus. The lake view from the room was gorgeous. Mr Sam checked us in and was so helpful, pleasant, and kind. The private beach was beautiful, with a nice lake view, room to play volleyball, and a quiet, uncrowded feel. The beach was clean, and kayaks were available for getting out on the water. But the room problems outweighed those positives, especially the mattress. After staying two and a half days, I left with backaches from a mattress that was terribly uncomfortable and possibly damaged. We knew it was a Murphy bed, but the mattress quality was still awful. The room was dusty and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The carpets were very old and dusty, and the fan had a heavy layer of dust that wouldn't have built up overnight. We also found spiders in the room, including one under the table. This is the first negative Google review I've ever written, and I don't usually post them, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I had to. I won't be returning.
