Sleep Inn & Suites North Liberty - Liberty City

The hot tub in the room I booked wasn’t working, which I only discovered after getting upstairs. I asked the front desk if I could switch to the regular room rate and get a small refund. They handled it without hesitation and refunded part of the cost. Excellent service!

The morning coffee was hot, the room was clean, and we had no noisy neighbors. I was crossing the country with my dog and hadn’t planned to stop near Iowa city, but after seeing too many cars in the ditch in the bad weather, staying the night seemed like the right call. I got a great deal for the two of us. Mae, the clerk, was pleasant to speak with on the phone, and the manager was very accommodating about my situation. I’d stay here again.

The room on the third floor was much better. At first I was put on the second floor, where the carpet was torn, it smelled damp and moldy, and the door lock didn’t work. The place is very affordable. I had a king suite that sleeps four. Breakfast and the pool were both just ok.

A young woman who worked at the hotel was in the elevator with me when I was taking our luggage up to the third floor. My wife had handed me her bags so she could go check out the pool. The staff member kindly went back down, opened our room door, and held it while I came in with the luggage. Check-in had been friendly and quick too. Thanks to the staff for going above and beyond during our stay.
