Blue Water Keyes - PH13 - 3 Br Condo

Our three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo had loads of room, and the building was clean and updated. We also noticed painting and landscaping work underway, likely getting things ready for the busy season. Having a trash chute right outside the door was handy. The outdoor pool was closed, probably because it was cold, but the indoor pool and hot tubs were open and really warm. Great place for families.

We love Blue Water Keyes and plan to keep staying there. On our first visit, unit 602 was beautiful, with clean rooms, updated furniture, and new appliances. This time it was already booked, so we took PH7. It was a nice condo, but the furniture seemed cheap and its balcony was much smaller than the one in 602. The smoke alarm in one bedroom also went off three times overnight, so loudly we had to shout to hear each other. It turned out the battery was low. For what we paid, I expected the furniture and appliances to be more up to date.

There's beach access right outside, and every room has a good view. The place is family friendly and clean, with a great maintenance crew. It has indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, two hot tubs, and an indoor gym. There's public parking across the street too. We love this place.

The owner supplied all the kitchen utensils and gadgets we needed, and the condo was beautifully decorated and in a good location. But it wasn't clean at all. There was sand across the floors, and our socks turned black. At 3 am, we had a family emergency and had to take someone to the ER. We offered to clean in return for checking out at 1 pm instead of 10 am, but the response was cold and they said no. The decor, amenities, and location get 10 stars from me. Cleanliness and the management company's lack of concern get a 2.
