Deer Park Resort Vacation Rental Close to Many NH Attractions - Dp103w

A handy little place for our trip to Loon mountain. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with all the amenities we needed.

The room itself was nice, but housekeeping was only so-so, with food particles here and there and some dirt. We also found several mouse traps, and some were outdated. At check-in, we were told the room was in the basement, reached by two flights of stairs, and there’s no handicap parking. Looks can be deceiving. We may not return unless things improve.

The only real difficulty for us was the rule that you enter the recreational building through the front, since my mom is handicap and that wasn’t really feasible. There are doors all around the building, but they wanted guests to show the bracelet issued to Deer Park renters to get in. Otherwise, the place is fabulous. Our three-bedroom condo faced the river, had a beautiful log cabin feel, a fireplace, and a bathroom for every bedroom. It sleeps 10, and the mountain view was spectacular. The clear, clean lake reflected the mountains; the kids fished at the far side where swimming isn’t allowed. There’s a deck by the lake with a barbecue and lots of lounge chairs, plus a sandy beach area and an outdoor fire pit. The big recreation building has an indoor pool and Jacuzzi, and upstairs there’s a double-sided fireplace with more lake views, board games, rocket ball, a pool table, air hockey, and ping-pong. We even cooked a family dinner in its large kitchen and lounged around while the kids played. Walk the trails along the river and you’ll reach an area called the Cascades. Lots of kids take tubes down into the clear, running, rocky water. Lots of fun.

The place was amazing and clean, with plenty to do both in season and out. The rec center is amazing!!!!
