The people working here were the reason I wanted to review this basic hotel. Everyone we dealt with was great. We checked in close to midnight and got a friendly, polite welcome from the night auditor. More than 40 minutes after breakfast had ended, someone still offered to turn on the juice machine and get milk for cereal without being asked. That kind of hospitality and care is rare. The hotel itself is incredibly inexpensive. It's basic, with clean beds, quiet AC, and a pretty nice TV. It has what you'd expect: a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, iron and board, plenty of towels, and outlets that all work. Even hotels costing a couple hundred a night can be hit or miss on working outlets. There's an indoor pool with decent ventilation, though the water color looked questionable, and a surprisingly nice fitness room with weights, a bench, elliptical, treadmill, and bike. That's useful on a road trip when you've been sitting for hours. It's not a fancy hotel: no turndown service, complimentary toast at check-in, or room service.

After driving for 12 hours, my husband and I just wanted to get into our room and sleep. The room was disgusting: a trash bag full of something, filthy towels on the bathroom floor, black specks on the bed that looked like metal shavings, blood on the wall, and something that looked like a larva egg. The whole hotel gave us bad vibes as soon as we walked in. At the desk, the staff member was rude and seemed like he didn't want to be there. He said our room number out loud, which is a big no-no, and vaped while we were still at the counter. We were charged twice, once online when we booked and again at check-in. We got a refund for the payment at check-in, but not the online payment. This is the worst hotel I've ever set foot in.

My mom booked four rooms: two suites, one handicap-accessible room, and a double. A group of us had to stay elsewhere because three rooms in a row had bathroom problems, and the regular room's door wouldn't lock. From Wednesday afternoon until Friday checkout, nobody replaced the towels or offered anything. Maybe this is self-service, I'm not sure. Breakfast was okay, and the seating area was nice. The front desk staff didn't really respond when we asked for things, which was odd. The kids loved the pool, at least, and the location was convenient for visiting relatives and going to the buffet.

The room looked clean when I arrived, and the location was great. But over the few days I was there, I killed six tiny bugs in the room, including one in the refrigerator. I took pictures and showed the front desk, and they cleaned the room and changed the sheets. All I heard was that the rooms were newly renovated and the clerk wasn't sure where the bugs came from. I'll never stay here again.

If you want barely any sleep and the worst food of your life, this is the place. The breakfast was terrible, with no cups for drinks, and there was no staff to be found in the hotel. The room was okay except for toilet paper stuffed into holes in the ceiling. At night, doors slammed, kids ran through the halls screaming, and a group sang Happy Birthday loudly at midnight. It seemed like someone had rented the hotel for a young child's birthday party and let the kids run wild all night. Someone knocked on a person I was with at 1 a.m. Kids ran around on the floor above us, and every step sounded like a drum. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.
