Chamberlain Days Inn Oacoma

After six days and five nights on the road, with a different motel each night, this was easily the best stay yet. The couple running the place are very nice, and the rooms are clean. There's also a nice little continental breakfast with pancakes. If you need an affordable stop along your trip, this place is a good choice.

I booked online at the last minute and forgot to check whether the room was accessible. The gentleman first gave me a second-floor room, and when I asked about an elevator he said there wasn't one and to use the stairs. My friend said she'd try the stairs, but when he saw her come in with her cane, he changed his mind. I really appreciated that.

The breakfast was a welcome surprise: coffee, waffles, eggs, toast, cereal, fruit, and a few other choices, all included. It made getting started in the morning easy. The room was quiet, clean, and cozy, with a comfortable bed and fresh-feeling linens and bathroom. For the price, I hadn't expected the place to be so well kept. I booked at the last minute on a road trip. The staff were kind, made check-in quick, and even suggested a couple of local places to eat. I was happy with the affordable stay and would come back when I'm in the area.
