I’ve used this place for nights before early flights for the past few years, and the rooms have been comfortable and clean. Lately, though, it seems like upkeep and improvements have slipped. There was also a smell of pot and stale cigarette smoke. I hope they update the place soon.

I booked through Priceline because its website said there was an airport shuttle. That wasn’t true, so I ended up staying somewhere else that had one. Priceline called the hotel to cancel, but Michael said they didn’t have shuttle service and he couldn’t authorize a cancellation until they called back the next day. General manager Lee refused to approve a refund, saying they offer a paid shuttle through a third party. Michael hadn’t offered that option the night before, though. He’d said they had no shuttle service.

I checked in on 12/28/25 because my hotel of choice was sold out and I needed a kitchenette. I have OCD and brought my own cleaning supplies, sheets, and blankets. The carpet was nasty, and the bathroom floor was sticky enough that my shoes tracked it. I’ll spray my slippers before putting them back in the shoe bag. I washed the dishes before cooking. After eating, I lay down to play a game on my phone, and a gnat landed on the pillow. I already have insomnia. It was too late to talk to the manager, and cleaning another room after moving felt like too much. I finally tried to sleep around 5 a.m., but an alarm kept going off every two minutes, again and again. I got up and looked around, but couldn’t see anything. I called the front desk on my personal phone. There was no professional greeting, and when I called back, they hung up. I tried the room phone and was told the fire alarm was inoperable and the fire department had just left. They were waiting for the alarm company because of a faulty wire, and the employee was sitting by the alarm, hitting the switch each time it went off. I asked for some kind of compensation, and he immediately said he wasn’t compensating 70 rooms. I clarified that I was asking for myself, not 70 rooms. I booked two nights through a third party. I’m going down to speak with him face to face and see if I can check out and go somewhere else. I’ll never stay here again.

The little apartment-like units are cute, and the place is fairly clean. Our room TV doesn’t work, and we’re still waiting for it to be fixed. Some staff aren’t very friendly, though I think they may be short staffed. The bed is HARD AS HELL, so if you like a firm one, this is the place for you. All in all, it’s not too bad so far.
