We paid $100, more than the prices listed, and the manager's response to our complaints was basically, “It’s a day, what do you expect?” They said nothing could be done because we had stayed the night. I'd tell people to try the nearby WoodSpring Suites instead. It was nicer, more accommodating, and cheaper. This place was trash. We booked ahead after driving in late, expecting a pool because the photo showed one, but there isn't one. The grab-and-go breakfast wasn't available because their truck hadn't arrived. The room was filthy, with trash under the bed and an unclean bathroom fan. A light flickered and wouldn't work. The carpets under the awnings were soaked despite no rain, with black mold where it had leaked. The tub was broken, so I couldn't take a bath, and none of the showerhead settings worked.
I travel for work and stay in hotels at least 175 nights a year, and this may be the worst one I've experienced. We booked two nights with points based on the Google photos, which were misleading. The room phone didn't work, so I went to the front desk to complain. They moved us, but the replacement rooms had problems too: a faulty door lock, a broken shower, sticky carpet, and a weed smell. I had to sit and shower using the ice bucket. Later I found bedbug bites all over me. The first room was dirty in every way: lights didn't work, there was a used towel, tissues in the toilet, human hair on the bathroom and towel, and dog hair on the bed. It made me wonder if they change the sheets at all. At 1 a.m., after a 15-hour drive, we had no real choice since other nearby hotels were sold out. I'd strongly recommend staying away and saving yourself the trouble.
Days Inn is a lovely stay and good value for the price. The front desk and cleaning staff are the best in town, you won't find better!
I was here for a week-long business trip. The location was very good and the bed was comfortable, but housekeeping never came to my room during the stay. I arrived to find no trash can, requested one, and received it, but the garbage was never taken out all week. The floor could have used vacuuming, too. There was a musty, fungus-like smell when I first entered. Breakfast was free, though the choices were limited. The room had an ironing board but no iron, so I bought one at the nearby Walmart.
I arrived at 3 and was told the room wasn't ready, so I went to eat and came back around 5:15. It still wasn't ready. The desk clerk, who wasn't very friendly, sent someone to check which rooms were available, and about 20 minutes later he called with a room number. While waiting, I learned the advertised pool doesn't exist. When I asked whether there could be a discount because of that, I was told it wasn't their fault. I asked if the same was true of the room being nearly three hours late, and the clerk canceled my reservation and told me to go somewhere else that could make me happy. When I asked for cancellation confirmation, she threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. That isn't a good way to run a business. After reading other reviews, maybe it worked out for the best. Pay $10 more and stay anywhere else. I'd give zero stars if I could.
