Hampton Inn & Suites St. Paul Oakdale/Woodbury

I was there for five days after surgery, and the staff made a stressful check in much easier when I ran into problems with the Capital One points I’d used to book. They went above and beyond so I didn’t have to worry about the trouble Capital One travel had caused. The front desk, manager, and housekeepers were all friendly. Even maintenance stopped to chat in the hallway and check that we had what we needed in the room. The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. First class service, and I’d definitely return.

We spent four days there over Christmas. The service was good and the rooms were nice, but I left some clothes behind and didn’t realize until I got home. I never got my mom’s clothes or her wool jacket back. I’m very disappointed, and because of that I’ll never return or say anything nice about the place. Hampton Inn, you can suck it!

We picked this place for my in laws because it’s right by the highway and easy to find. But both rooms smelled strongly of smoke and weed, even though they were meant to be non smoking. They asked to move, and the next room smelled just as bad, so they couldn’t stay and left. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews. We thought Hampton was a trustworthy hotel name, but we’ll have to reconsider next time.

Neasha Austin was amazing, very professional and knowledgeable, with great customer service. The rest of the staff were excellent too. I really enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn Oakdale. The location is perfect, with lots of stores and restaurants nearby and the highway close by. I’ll definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.
