Quality Inn Pittsburgh Airport

The room was so nasty that I chose not to sleep there at all. It wasn’t just outdated or not fancy. It was dirty, unsafe, and unacceptable, and honestly, you’d be better off sleeping in your car. I paid $239 for one night expecting a clean, safe place, but the room was nowhere near worth the money. We booked a non-smoking room, but the second we opened the door there was a strong cigarette smell. The air was stale, dirty, and unbearable. Both comforters had burn holes. The bathroom grout looked like mold was growing, and everything felt neglected and filthy. The smoke detector looked like it had been ripped off the wall, which was terrifying and extremely unsafe. I booked for the Morgan Wallen concert that weekend. I only had time to check in and leave for the night, so I couldn’t stand there arguing about the room before heading out. Management later contacted us and basically said they wouldn’t do anything because we hadn’t complained that night. But whatever the timing of the report, no one would feel comfortable staying in that room. Advertising rooms in that condition is a disgrace. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Free parking with a shuttle to and from the airport is the biggest perk when you’re flying out of Pittsburgh. There’s also a great free breakfast, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are cozy and clean, with hot water and a comfortable bed. It’s a lovely place to stay if you just need somewhere to rest. If you want fancy, this isn’t the spot.

The room was fairly clean, though the bathtub was badly stained. I booked two nights so I could go to work, but my toothbrush and underwear went missing, and I felt really uneasy about it. I left as soon as I noticed my personal hygiene items were gone. I would have given this place three stars otherwise, but I won't book here again.

We've stayed here many times and plan to keep coming back for the family-run atmosphere, breakfast, reliable airport shuttle, and reasonably priced park-and-fly. The staff have been really helpful, including lending us a portable charger when our car wouldn't start. They also let us extend parking for a reasonable daily fee after the included period. A heads-up if you're booking: we first found a third party online pretending to be the hotel, and they falsely said it was sold out. Calling the hotel directly got us a room. They don't use third-party park-and-fly booking sites. For departure, schedule the shuttle ahead, ideally 48 hours in advance for an early flight. On your return, call for pickup at door 8.
