Best Western Plus Airport Inn and Suites

We ended up staying for a week because of car trouble. The hot tub was amazing, and we used it many times. We also did laundry twice. The laundry room looks small but works efficiently. Staff were always nice and helpful. The property sits in a residential and industrial area that doesn't look safe, and they recommend taking everything out of your car. The ice machine was broken on our first night, but they fixed it. I changed my review after that first night to be fair, since they took care of the issues right away.

The only snag was that my husband needed to set up his work computer and the ethernet connection didn't work well. The WiFi was fine, though. I was a little nervous because of some reviews, but everything turned out great. The front desk agents were smart and professional, with fun personalities, and the room was spacious and very clean. It had the basics, towels, a coffee maker, tea and a mini fridge. Our stay was quiet, with no trouble from other guests. Best Western's usual free breakfast was good: fresh waffles, sausage, eggs, juices, yogurt, bagels and a few other things.

The location wasn't great, tucked into a work district in Oakland. Still, it was a decent place to stay. The room was very clean and the front desk was great. Breakfast was a nice extra, and probably one of the best I've had at a Best Western, with bacon, eggs, yogurt, apples and cereal. The indoor pool was another bonus. Not many hotels in San Francisco have one. It wasn't crowded, and the hot tub was working.

Breakfast had lots of choices: cheese omelets, fresh mini waffles, sausage, oatmeal, three cereals with different milk options, bear claws, toast, bagels, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and tea. The staff were extremely nice and greeted us whenever we saw them. The building was very clean inside and out, and our room was clean, nicely upgraded and looked good. We had a really great experience.
