Tim and Lisa were great, and the chickens wandering around were fun. I stayed in a little A-frame with everything I needed, and it was quiet even with the road noise, which was more like white noise. Charming place right off I-5 between Portland and Southern Oregon. Highly recommend!

I travel around the country playing music, and this place is infamous. It might be the last affordable, cute Americana motel left. I was so grateful to find it existed! I’m getting ready to book again and realized I’d never reviewed it before. This place deserves every star Google can give and then some.

Parking right in front of your unit made loading and unloading easy, and the room had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, cable, heat, fridge, shower, and homemade cookies at check-in. It was clean and unique, like staying in a cabin, unlike anywhere else I’ve been. They even have chickens! After a long night of driving, I met one of the owners. They bought one of the original A-frame motels built in the 60’s and are restoring it. Lisa was super friendly and more than accommodating. I’ll stay again when I’m traveling.

We booked only 30 minutes before the front desk closed at midnight, and they were so welcoming and kind. The room was super cozy and comfortable. Their sweetest dog, Pepper, made coming and going even nicer. I’ll definitely recommend the place to others.

I felt safe traveling alone because the whole parking lot was well lit. The shower got hot instantly, and the water pressure made me want to stay forever. It’s easy to find right off I-5, with a great little drive-through coffee shop a block away.
