I ended up staying an extra night to rest before getting back on the highway toward MA, and the owners were very hospitable. After I locked myself out, their daughter was especially sweet. I like finding and supporting local businesses when I travel, and I was glad to do that here. The Annie Oakley is a cute motel in the middle of town, next to a residential area, and it felt very safe. I could drive right up to my room. It’s been nicely restored and decorated with quality furnishings. My king room had a desk, recliner, large new TV, large refrigerator, and microwave. I’ve been on the road since December to get away from a MA winter and am now heading back. I wanted to stop before I got on 70, saw this little town, and asked a local at a gas station where to stay.

The location on Center Avenue made it easy to get around town, and settling in was straightforward, with simple parking and check-in. It’s a classic roadside motel, not a fancy hotel, but the room was comfortable enough for a night’s rest during a road trip. A quiet, affordable place to stop.

The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a super comfortable bed. This little motel in a quaint town was amazing. If we come back this way, we'll stay here again.

After the time zone changed at 3 am, we decided to stop while traveling from Denver to the Florida panhandle. A staff member kindly got up to check us in. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had full size Dove toiletries, which was nice to see for the environment. The coffee was good too, and it’s very pet friendly. We had an excellent stay.

The room was really clean, I felt safe, and the person who checked me in was nice. Parking was a little tight, though it wasn't crowded, so it worked out. The water pressure was decent, and the mini fridge and microwave were great. A few things could use attention: the deadbolt wouldn't close, cold air blew through the plumbing hole under the sink on a windy day and left the bathroom cold, and the faucet had tiny holes that made water splash around instead of flowing smoothly. I'd still stay again, and I appreciate the effort put into the place.
