The town is close by, with some fun places to spend time, and the location is really convenient. JR has a full bar and pizza, so you can get what you need in one stop. It’s well priced for a little getaway or a work trip. He deserves all the business he can handle. I’d definitely recommend it.

The host was friendly and knew the area well. My room was clean, and the useful little touches made the stay easier: extension cords, space to set down bags and belongings, plus a microwave and fridge.

It’s cozy inside, and the rooms were very clean. Jr. takes good care of his guests, and having a private bar was a real bonus for me since I like places with few people or no crowd at all.

JR really follows through when he says he’ll take care of you. He shared loads of information about the area and seemed to genuinely love it. After exploring and hiking, I could relax by the fire ring, which was the best part of camping, then sleep in a soft, comfortable, dry bed. The room was clean and comfortable, and I had a full bathroom all to myself.

JR seemed to do everything himself, from running the desk and cooking to bartending and housekeeping, and he was a great owner. I ended up at Rest Stop 6 inn after my first choice, a hotel with a pool, was booked on a last minute ride up north pa. I found it at the top of Google maps and was really glad I stayed. The room was great, clean, and well maintained, and the bathroom was well cared for too. The towels and bed linens weren’t the usual white, which made it feel more like home than a hotel. Truly a diamond in the rough.
