stayAPT Suites Ocala

We spent almost 40 days at StayAPT Suites and felt welcome the whole time. The suite had what we needed to make an extended stay comfortable, and the property was consistently clean and well maintained. The courtyard was neat and inviting, too. Everyone was friendly and ready to help, with a positive attitude. Grant, Tiffany, Heather, and Daniel were accommodating and professional, and made us feel valued each day. Sandra and Iris from housekeeping were attentive and thorough, keeping everything spotless. Even Grant’s dog, Shelby, made the place feel more welcoming. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean extended-stay hotel.

Tiffany and Danielle at the front desk were wonderful and did what they could to help, even though the hotel was sold out. The common areas looked clean, and the staff later spoke with the manager, refunded us, and gave us a voucher for a future night. It was only valid for 90 days, though. Their help is the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. After a two-hour drive, we checked in, left our things, and went to dinner. We’d checked the beds and room before leaving and everything seemed fine. When we returned around 8:45 pm, a small roach came out of a drawer when I opened it for a knife. Another appeared after I killed it, and I found two more bugs on cabinet doors. Staff said a long-term tenant had recently moved out and the room had been treated and cleaned. We tried to put up with it since we were only there one night, until I saw a larger roach crawling in the bed. We couldn’t stay after that. One pillowcase was filthy, the dishwasher needed replacing or a deep clean, there were dust webs in the closet, and the floors hadn’t been cleaned properly. Thankfully, we found another nearby hotel at 9:30 pm, though it cost $150 more. At least we had peace of mind and no unwanted guests in bed.

The beds were very comfortable, and the blackout curtains were great. Everything was clean, with a full-size oven and dishwasher. Bring your own spices, pans, dish soap, and paper towels. They worked around my crazy schedule from start to finish. When my dogs started a war cry from their crate, the staff took care of them, which was above and beyond. Thanks, Tiffany! The General Manager was wonderful and clearly loves the job.

Tiffany at the front desk is a rock star, so helpful and bubbly. Housekeeping does a great job and really cleans thoroughly.
