Super 8 by Wyndham Ocala I-75

It's a cheaper hotel, but the room was beat up and trashy. The towel rack wasn't even fastened to the wall properly, and the paint was ripped up in several places. I also wondered whether everything gets rewashed between guests. The guy at the counter insisted the vending machines worked, even though all three take your money. He knows they're broken and won't unplug them or put up a sign. I offered him a dollar to try one himself and get something if it worked. He didn't want to, of course, because he knows they're all broken.

The room smelled musty and like smoke. The carpet was wet, and the unplugged fridge had green and yellow mold inside. I saw two cockroaches on the walls, then another ran under the toilet when I went to the bathroom. When I turned on the shower, it broke and sprayed water everywhere. Don't go there. 1/14/26

The front desk woman made a racist comment to someone who came in looking for a room, then told her there were no rooms available. I contacted customer service, but they said the person who heard the comment would have to call before they could do anything. To speak with customer service, you have to give them the phone number and confirmation number for your reservation, which means the person this happened to has no way to report it.

I've always had a good experience here. The front desk makes check-in and check-out easy and helps with anything that comes up. Everyone on staff I've dealt with has been friendly and helpful. I'll keep coming back.
