Americana Condos 10th street

Being just a short walk from the beach made it easy to go for a morning swim or a sunset stroll without needing the car. Restaurants, cafes, and shops were close by too. The building was quiet, secure, and well maintained, and the clean, relaxing pool was a great place to cool off on warm days. The condo was modern, very clean, and had everything I needed, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed. Management was professional and helpful, so check-in and communication were easy. I had a great stay and would happily come back.

We booked two nights but left early after spending just one. The house looked spacious when we arrived, but the dirt quickly spoiled that first impression. The floors were so filthy that walking barefoot turned our feet black, and the beds had sand, food crumbs, and hair. The blankets and sheets were disgusting, and some of us slept in our cars while others bought new sheets because it was so late. We were anxious and stressed. When we returned the keys, someone showed up right away and stood over us, pushing us to leave even though we had kids with us. It was disturbing, unprofessional, and upsetting for the children. A supposed happy vacation turned into a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The condo was large, but felt neglected and was disappointing. Furnishings were sparse, and the kitchen bar was so warped that my glass slid off. The supposedly fully stocked kitchen had barely enough utensils for a 12-person rental, a tiny coffee maker, no wine glasses, no dish soap, and no paper towels. There was no table on the balcony, and the hallways and stairs were grimy. The towels and bedding were fine, at least. The bigger problem was parking. The Booking.com listing said it was included, but on arrival we were charged $10 a day and told only one car per group could use their lot. For our second car, they offered a pass to a supposedly nearby lot that turned out to be 11 blocks away. Free street parking was available right outside, but that wasn’t mentioned. We showed the manager our confirmation, and they shrugged, refused to honor it, and said they’d look into updating the listing. Other reviews suggest this has been happening for at least a year, so it felt like a deliberate cash grab. If you’re fine with extra charges, misleading listings, and a neglected place, this is for you. Otherwise, stay away.

Everything exceeded my expectations, from the room to the service. The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to explore the area. I’d gladly recommend this hotel and stay here again.
