Livia made our visit feel extra special. She was warm, caring, fun to talk to, and knew plenty of good places to eat. The front desk staff greeted us kindly and made us feel appreciated. The lobby smelled fresh and was very clean. The elevators were spacious and clean, and luggage carts were available too. Our room was roomy and clean, as was the bathroom. The rainfall shower head was refreshing. My favorite part was the balcony, where I could sit peacefully watching the waves. They also provide really nice beach furniture. The hotel is beautiful and well worth the money.

We loved how easy everything was, with dining, shopping, and entertainment close by and no need for a car. Our suite had a kitchenette for snacks or reheating leftovers, plus a balcony with wide Atlantic views. From the moment we arrived, the ocean was right there, and the beach was only steps away. Being on the boardwalk made walks and local attractions easy to reach. We’re already planning another stay at the Commander Suite and would recommend it for a relaxing beach trip.

The ocean view was nice, and the room was dated. Parking cost $20 each night. The hallway also had a strong, constant marijuana smell.

The room had a bad smell that we couldn’t work out, and it was still there the next morning. When I opened the microwave, I found an old pie with fruit flies around it. There was no iron or closet hangers. Housekeeping knocked at 9 a.m., and even though we clearly called out no thanks, she still opened the door. This place didn’t match what the pictures and reviews led me to expect. It’s not worth the money, and you may end up as upset as I was.

We were so impressed with the hotel and its staff that we’ve already booked for next year. Darrin checked us in, Mo helped straighten out the room charges, and Olivia was accommodating when we changed rooms. After we forgot the combination, Nina helped get our safe unlocked. Brooks arranged a late checkout and helped us when we left.
