Hampton Inn & Suites By Hilton Ocean City West

We came for a short visit with old friends last week. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, and the beds were comfortable, with nice linens and towels. Our room wasn’t quite right at check-in, but Chandler sorted it out and then some, staying pleasant and helpful throughout. He always had a smile, and deserves recognition for his customer service. We’d definitely stay here again.

We’ve been coming back for the last few years and have always left happy. The rooms are clean and recently updated, and everyone on staff was friendly and efficient, including the people working behind the scenes. With the hotel voted #2 in the nation, I hope they make it to #1 next year. They’d deserve it. Highly recommend.

We’ve made this our family’s summer stay for three years running. The hotel is impressively clean throughout, and it’s only about a five-minute drive to the boardwalk and beach. It was nice to see familiar faces again, too. Orlando helped us adjust our stay, and Chandler was as cheerful and welcoming as ever, even remembering our family. Greg, the general manager, was very kind and upgraded our room while giving us the best rate. Keep it up, team!

After spending more time here, I changed my review. I had three really bad experiences, two involving Andrew and one with Angela, but they seem to have been isolated. The staff has been great overall. Greg Jones, the manager, seems to keep things running smoothly, and Chandler has been the most helpful staff member for me so far. My original issue was at the front desk, where I asked Angela for help and got a shrug and “I dunno.” That felt pretty wild for Ocean City hospitality.
