Days Inn by Wyndham Ocean City Oceanfront

The staff are what keep me coming back to the Days Inn. Everyone we dealt with, from the front desk to maintenance and the pool crew, was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to help. They even recognized my Platinum membership at check-in, a nice touch. We had a two-double-bed oceanfront suite that worked perfectly for our family of four. It was spacious, with a massive balcony and incredible views. The stove took a minute to figure out, but we enjoyed cooking our own meals once we got it going. The rooms look recently renovated and more updated than many other boardwalk hotels. The location is right on the boardwalk and oceanfront. There are two clean pools, towels at the pool, and a restaurant where we could always find a seat. I liked that nobody reserves pool chairs, so there was always somewhere to sit. The elevator is super fast, and there's a shower by the boardwalk to rinse off after the beach. I've been coming to Ocean City for years and have tried lots of boardwalk hotels. The Days Inn is one of my favorites. I'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it.

The bathtub showed its age badly and hadn't been renovated, though that was the only downside for me. The rest of the room had been updated and was very clean, carpeting included. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. Traffic from the busy road nearby wasn't noticeable once the door was shut.

The suite worked well for the kids, with a separate bedroom and two bathrooms. Beds were comfortable, and it felt like good value for one of the nicer hotels in that area, even though the rooms are a bit tired. It's right on the boardwalk. The suite building didn't have an elevator, but staff carried our luggage up. We had a great time.

We had a good time despite the weather. The hotel was very clean, the pools excellent, and the staff helpful and personable, especially our maid. Our room was huge and excellent, and we were told it was the biggest one with balconies. The restaurant, though, was deplorable and filthy. A lady's ray looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the food wasn't great.
