The internet was the one letdown. We had no connection in the room, and the TV channels barely came through. Still, I’d give the place five stars and would definitely return. It was clean and well maintained, and being a block from the beach made it easy to walk to attractions and restaurants. We never needed the car. I was a little nervous after reading reviews, but honestly had a great stay. Thanks, Dan.

The staff were wonderful and sorted out our heating problem quickly by moving us to another room without any fuss. The hotel is a little dated, but the location is perfect for Cruising OC, right where the boardwalk parade starts. My wife and I will definitely come back.

My fiance and I stayed May 26-28, 2026. The booking site had mixed things up, but the manager at sea cove motel stepped in and took great care of us. We really appreciate the time and effort she put in. Everyone was very friendly.

The location is the main thing you're paying for, plus maybe a bed to sleep in. Bring your own soap and shampoo: the soap provided is tiny and feels like cardboard, and there's no shampoo. I'd pack extra towels too, since the ones provided barely absorb and there aren't enough to dry off properly. Parking was okay for me, and the staff were okay. The building and amenities are very old, though, and the walls and floor weren't very clean.

Stayed one night with a friend. The room 27 lock didn't work, and nobody gave us the Wi-Fi password at check-in. Staff weren't much help during the stay. It felt like every expense had been cut. I noticed something on the walls that could have been mold, but it was midnight and hard to tell.
