The bathroom window made us uncomfortable. It was at eye level from outside, with very worn mini blinds, and there were two of us traveling. We would have covered it with a towel if we'd had duct tape. The room itself was clean and had a mini kitchen, street and pool views, and a quiet-close toilet lid. It felt like a throwback to the '60-70's, and the AC was loud. Check-in was easy and friendly, though parking was odd. Restaurants were walkable or a short drive away, and the beach was a short walk, but it was too windy for us to stay long. We stayed while exploring Assateague Island. Bring mosquito spray if you want to get out of the car there.

The beds were okay, and the place was clean, but it's in need of a serious remodel. The green tub and toilet, carpet, and decor all look like they came from the 1970's. We had ants despite not cooking or leaving food containers open. I've never stayed at a motel or hotel that didn't provide coffee. It's very close to the beach, though downtown OC is probably 20 minutes away. You get what you pay for.

The Sea Hawk was clean and adorable, and the customer service was great. I had to cancel an online booking for reasons unrelated to the hotel. Pam was extremely nice on the phone and canceled it right away, which helped a lot. I later noticed they'd still charged my card, so I stopped by while in town. After a phone call, the woman at the front desk got the charge refunded and was very kind. I'll call the Sea Hawk next time I'm in town. Thank you!

I've been coming for a few years and usually get a room in a decent spot, so no complaints. I like being in the middle of the main parking lot. Rooms 10-12 seem best to me.

We stay here nearly every year with our big family. It's good for the price, close to everything, and away from the rift raft of boardwalk nonsense. The office and cleaning staff are awesome and very accommodating, and the owners and cleaning ladies know my family and me well. The pool is great. Rooms are getting dated, though, and personally I'd replace the beds and AC units.
