The Quarters

I booked through an RCI exchange and was charged an extra $75. I honestly can't tell what that paid for, other than lining their pockets. I won't book here or at any property by Good management again. The office was never staffed, and everything meant calling. I called five times: three times they said someone would call back, but nobody did; twice someone tried to guide me by phone, though they clearly hadn't been to the property or been given proper layout information. The rooms are large but dated, with furniture and decor that look straight out of the 80s. Stains inside the toilet made me wonder how well anything was cleaned. There was also random junk stuffed into some cabinets, which made me think these might once have been condos people were evicted from before they became timeshares.

It feels less like a polished rental and more like visiting a friendly neighbor whose house needs new walks and some updating. Still, we liked it and felt comfortable. The place is a little shabby, nothing glamorous, but well stocked, and the rooms are very comfortable and look clean. The kitchen and bathrooms had lots of what we needed, and we were told to ask if we ran out. The young woman who checked us in was friendly, and though we haven't needed help with a problem, I felt they would resolve one. There's plenty of closet and storage space. Parking could get tight in season, especially for large vans.

It was clean, nice, and well equipped. My only complaint is that the pool shut on Tuesday 9/8/20. I wish they'd told us when we booked. I feel like it could have stayed open that week.

We loved the view. Everything else was great, though the appliances and dishes needed a good cleaning, and the TV in the family room didn't work.
