Sea Breeze Cottages

For such a tiny cottage, it feels surprisingly open and thoughtfully laid out. It’s nicely designed, with cozy character and modern comforts. The kitchen has everything needed, the bed is very comfortable, and the outdoor space is a lovely spot for nature or morning coffee. It’s quiet and private while still close to local activities and attractions. A great retreat for couples, solo travelers, or anyone wanting a peaceful break. Highly recommend!

We were in the area to clear and clean our lots, and this was just right for lodging. It’s minimal but has enough, and I’d book again. The stairs were a bit tough with my very sore back and legs.

Cute cottages, and we found them for a weekend work event because we needed somewhere dog-friendly. Our unit, #6, was quiet and pleasant, though it didn’t have a nice view. I’d have preferred the other side, like 5 or 7, which backed onto greenery. It was a bonus to be close to the dog relief area, and we had fun walking to the convention center and nearby shops. I rated the service three because of a couple of problems. The downstairs bathroom heat didn’t work. We didn’t contact anyone, since a portable heater in the closet was enough for our two nights. Several bed slats also came loose both nights, even when we just sat on the edge. They should secure them to prevent a bed mishap later.

The cottages are quaint and homey, and it was very quiet. The kitchen had all we needed to cook, though we brought our own food. The bathroom was clean and roomy, and games and books were there for entertainment. There’s deck furniture, but I’m not sure those chairs suit older people since they’re hard to get out of. The stairs made me nervous and seem dangerous. I’m short, and I’m not sure they’d pass code. Neither the bed nor couch was comfortable for sitting or sleeping. We were in #6, where the fridge made an odd noise that could be irritating at night. Turning on the furnace meant getting ready to roast upstairs.
