The pool was closed, but the hot tub was wonderful, and there's a nice trail down to the beach. You can borrow games and movies, and everything downtown is close by. The staff were amazing, the room was very clean and surprisingly quiet, even with people above and below us. For the price, it was a wonderful stay.

I'm staying in room 202, which is a studio connected to room 201, a full one-bedroom apartment. Both rooms have kitchens. You can smell the ocean air and there's beach access, plus a small pool and hot tub on site. The staff are 100% great. The rooms are dated and could use an upgrade, but they're still cozy and clean, and made for a relaxing stay.

Check-in was quick and the room was in good shape, with no odd smells despite being pet friendly, no obvious pet hair, and no bed bugs or other critters. The kitchen trash hadn't been emptied before we arrived, which was kind of gross, but that was the one exception to an otherwise phenomenal stay. It was close to everything we needed, with plenty to do.

The customer service was the best part, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, well maintained, and stocked with what we needed. The washing machine was out, but they did what they could and the laundromat was just down the street. The pool and hot tub worked perfectly for my five-year-old and teenager. The bed was comfy enough to fold out, and the couch was great for my teenage son, who could connect his video game devices to the TV for the evening. We ordered pizza once and I cooked in the kitchen the rest of the time. Bring your own water, the tap water is pretty bad. It's centrally located, minutes from a grocery store, laundromat, gift shops, and the main beach entrance. There's a trail from the hotel to the beach, but it's a bit of a jungle hike through dense foliage. Most people I talked to took their families to the main entrance instead, though if you're looking for an adventure, the trail was worth it. We'll absolutely be back, thank you so much!

The carpet in our suite reeked of urine. When I told the office, they said they'd make a note to shampoo the room after we left and brushed me off. They didn't offer a solution or to clean it during our stay. We simmered coffee for three days just to manage being in the room. I was really disappointed to spend my birthday that way. Wouldn't recommend.
