Wanderlust Inn

We really liked the deluxe king room and I loved this place. The kitchen was well stocked, there’s good value, and it’s close to restaurants and stores. Communication by phone was quick, even though no one was physically there. We’ll be back.

The rental had a full kitchen, plus a pool table in the dining room, and a nice patio with a fire pit and BBQ. It was a great stay overall. A couple of floorboards were loose with nails sticking out, and our toddler nearly stepped on them. I messaged the owner but never heard back.

The electronic lock was fussy, but a quick call to customer service got it sorted and it worked after that. I stayed in the Sandpiper room, which seemed recently renovated and was pleasant for a reasonable price. The hotel is small, well lit, with parking right outside. The room had a lovely mural, a comfortable bed and couch, coffee maker, fridge, and TV. I liked the tiled bathroom, easy-access tub and shower, and little shelf for toiletries. The lobby has games, spare blankets and towels, washers, a printer, and extra coffee supplies. Nice to have a hotel room with some color instead of all white.

Room 7 was lovely and right by the beach, and getting in and out with the phone code was easy. The room looked clean overall, though a few spots had clearly been missed, including hair on the shower mat and a stained luggage runner. When the door lock failed and left me stuck outside, management was easy to reach and maintenance came quickly.
