Horseshoe Tunica- A Caesars Destination

The room was newly renovated and elegant, and the beds were even more comfortable than I remembered at the Horseshoe. Honestly, they’re the best I’ve ever slept in. Our four nights were quiet and trouble-free. The whole stay, from check-in through check-out, was superb. Thanks to all the employees at the Horseshoe Tunica. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Tunica.

GOOOO BUFFALLOOOOO The staff are the reason we’d come back. Most of the craps and blackjack dealers were knowledgeable, patient, and fun to play with. They made the tables feel welcoming and kept things lively, which mattered during the hours we spent on the floor. Hotel service was solid too, and employees across the board seemed to care about guests. We had a great stay.

The staff really help make this place work. Hotel, casino, food, and beverage workers were kind, and Bruce and Brian were prompt and friendly at the bar. The small snack station was the best value for food, and the buffalo chicken wrap was a good choice. Aces Wild were great too, and I hope to see them again. The employees who stuck it out during the snowstorm deserve credit. A lot of the building needs attention. Several elevators seemed broken or out of service, and not all the lobby doors worked. The room doors are loud, and they kept me from sleeping, which probably hurt my poker tournament. Shower pressure was awful. I’d go next door to the lucky strike in future, where the water pressure was perfect, there was a hot tub and indoor pool, and things worked much better overall. Maybe a corporate manager or whoever handles maintenance needs to replace some things at the horseshoe. I’m not sure what’s going on there. I wasn’t impressed with the food selection at the guy fieri restaurant. We went to the steakhouse because it advertised oysters on the half shell outside, but they didn’t have any when we ate there.

The bed was really comfortable, and I didn’t go onto the casino floor. I only had a few problems with the room. The air wasn’t right, though maybe that was just me, and there was no bathroom fan to clear the steam. The towels and washcloths were dingy and rough, almost as if they use too much bleach or skimp on quality. Bring your own.
