Studio 6 Extended Stay - Ocean Springs, MS

The room had a noticeable bad smell, even though it was technically clean. We got a great price, but the savings weren't worth the hassle, and we won't stay at Studio 6 again. Their key cards are badly outdated and so sensitive they can demagnetize near phones or other electronics. We had to be careful where we kept them. Then one failed and locked us out for an entire night, so we slept in our car. When I asked the front desk to refund that night, since we couldn't get into the room we'd paid for, they weren't helpful. I've traveled for years and never dealt with such an unreliable key card system. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

We'd never stayed at a Motel 6, and it was the only place we could find available. The stay turned out far better than we expected. Stephanie was so kind at check-in, and the location was perfect. Our room was spotless, with a good-sized fridge, a great shower, and clean linens. Highly recommend!

For the price, it's hard to beat this place if you can put up with a few minor issues. The rooms were nice, though a bit dirty, but not so bad that we wouldn't stay. Some guests were rude, and the people next door smoked weed in their room and had a barking dog. The staff eventually took care of it.

What stood out was how thoughtful Elizabeth was. She welcomed us at check-in, then called our room to see if we were comfortable or needed anything. Her service was so warm and attentive, and she was just as amazing when we checked out. You don't come across customer care like that much anymore.
