Oyo Hotel Portland Or Near Airport

My family needed a two-room suite for our group and had reserved and prepaid for one. The property sold those rooms to other customers, then downgraded us to a regular room. We’ve had a puzzlingly hard time getting the refund we’re clearly owed. OYO corporate says no refund is payable, while the property admits a refund is due but won’t pay it. A complaint to the Oregon Attorney General and a credit card chargeback are pending. What a mess, all because the hotel didn’t honor our prepaid booking. The property is well priced, and the freight trains are very noisy throughout the night. If you can put up with that, it may suit your needs.

I’m suing this establishment for several reasons. The main one is a deposit demand at the front desk, even though the reservation specifically said there’d be no extra fees, deposits, or similar charges. I’ve spoken with other people who say they were scammed by the woman at the desk, whose name I won’t give here but is included in the lawsuit. The lawyers want to pursue a class action because this has affected multiple people. I told the police about the lawsuit, and they forwarded it to the FBI for further investigation. If you were affected by this alleged scam or didn’t receive what you paid for, please find and contact us about joining or asking questions.

Trains keep passing by at night, and the hotel didn’t give travelers the quiet they need to rest. When another occupant was making noise around midnight and disturbing people’s sleep, I tried to complain, but the owners didn’t address it. Management was absolutely horrible. I’d give zero stars if I could. Don’t waste time here, it’s a joke.

The rooms are cute, and this is a really nice hotel for an affordable price. The woman who works there was patient and very kind to me. She even moved me to a suite without charging extra.
