The house was clean and ready when we got there. My girls loved sleeping on the pull-out mattress, and the king-size bed was perfect. We were in town for the Slo Cal Spartan race, and the location worked really well. The drive to the start took about 30 minutes and was beautiful and calm.

I won't be coming back. With the higher nightly rates and no front desk or phone number to call, the old compromise of staying here for the price and location no longer works for me. There was already rarely anyone in the office when I visited, but those drawbacks used to feel manageable. I've been coming for over 10 years, and it's sad to see a new company, Seven sisters, managing the place and more than doubling the rates. What a rip-off. I hope this business practice puts you out of business.

The location is perfect, within walking distance of the beach, and the atmosphere is great. Best stay I've had around the area.

I've stayed here quite a few times over the years, but this last visit will be my final one. Service each day was lacking, and nobody was in the office after 5:00 pm. I couldn't find a phone number when my reservation instructions didn't arrive. On the first night, the hot water kept cutting in and out, so I ended up with a cold shower, and now they won't reimburse me anything for that night. I'm very disappointed. It's too bad a nice place isn't being run well anymore. Some rooms are updated and others clearly aren't, so be sure you know which room you'll get. Just be warned about the lack of service.
