Baymont By Wyndham Odessa

The hotel was okay, and breakfast was decent. The gym is small, and it was nice to have coffee available all day. The second-floor hallway smelled unpleasant, though. We stayed three nights, but our room wasn't cleaned on the second day because they said they were short staffed. They promised to at least bring fresh towels and take out the trash, but neither happened. On the third day they said again that they couldn't clean for the same reason. We had to ask the front desk, and the receptionist seemed reluctant, but eventually they arranged to clean it that day.

This was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed. I was scared of bed bugs. There seemed to be fluids on the bed frame, and the carpet was so gross my socks turned brown after half an hour. Outside doors were often left open. One towel had blood on it and another had a hair. The shower had no pressure, the toilet seat was broken, and there were no tissues. I wondered if the room had even been cleaned. I'd give it no stars if I could. Don't stay here.

The front desk woman made the stay a great experience, and the service was excellent. The manager charges for early arrival: $25 for one hour, $50 for two, and $75 for three. You get the idea, so be on time.

There was only one luggage cart for the whole hotel, which made check-in and checkout inconvenient. The room itself was in poor shape. Its furniture looked worn and unclean, the toilet seat was loose and attached by just one bracket, and the shower pressure was so weak it was hard to wash properly. What concerned me most was the stained bed linen. It made me question the housekeeping and cleanliness of the whole place. My stay at the Baymont by Wyndham at 4101 Parks Legado Road in Odessa, Texas, was far below what I expect from a Wyndham property. Management needs to address these problems.
