Comfort Suites Odessa near University

I love this location. My boss often books rooms here for my coworkers and me when we come to Odessa, and it's always been awesome, including the staff. DAnthony is usually there and handles things smoothly. He makes every guest feel welcome and valued. He's awesome!

We've been staying here a lot lately when we come to Odessa, and we'll definitely keep coming back. The rooms are very nice and clean. Danthony at the front was helpful and answered all my questions and concerns kindly, without getting frustrated. Thanks for all your help, young man. You were great, and my wife loved you too!

The front desk staff were friendly, the price was reasonable for this area, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking is tight out front, but there's plenty behind the building. The breakfast spread was ample, with waffles to make yourself, cereal, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, milk, and juices. The bacon was excellent, but the eggs were dried out and rubbery. The room itself was rough. The bathtub and bathroom were filthy, with hair in the tub, orange mold in the shower corners, and smears on the bathroom wall. There was no shower curtain, and toiletries besides the soap had clearly been used by previous guests. Dirt had built up in the corners where the cleaning person kept sweeping without getting it out. I've stayed almost everywhere in the area, and there are plenty of options at this price, including a more modern, better maintained Comfort Inn a couple blocks away. It wasn't a horrible stay, but I'd only pick this place again if I had no other options.

I won't stay here again. The heater barely worked, and the shower water was only lukewarm. When I asked if they had a crib or playpen for the baby to sleep in, they had nothing.
