Grasshopper Inn

Mark, the concierge and front desk attendant, was phenomenal. As a local, he gave us great advice on attractions in and beyond Ogunquit, plus food recommendations tailored to us, and made sure our stay was exceptional. The Grasshopper Inn is easy walking distance from restaurants and beaches. The made-to-order breakfast was great, and our modern, clean room was in a very quiet area. There are plenty of nice hotels around, but Mark’s attention to us put this one head and shoulders above the others.

The Grasshopper Inn made traveling with our toddler easy and stress-free. They had thoughtful things like a pack ’n play and high chair in the lobby, plus beach carts available to rent. The inn is beautiful, spotless, and smelled amazing. It felt fresh, cozy, and cared for, and the short walk to downtown Ogunquit was convenient. Nights were quiet and peaceful. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and helpful, offered good local recommendations, and were always there with a smile. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and you can tell they really care about guests. Whether you’re visiting as a couple or family, it’s a gem. We can’t wait to come back!

We spent two nights and three days at this excellent inn, and it made for a superb weekend. The room was immaculate, breakfast was great, and the staff were wonderful. The potato and onion frittata was especially good. Manager Mark was like our best friend. He helped me find gluten-free food and secured reservations at great restaurants.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Everything went smoothly, from check-in to our room, and breakfast was delicious. The location was great too, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We were beyond impressed with this lovely inn, had a wonderful stay, and are already planning our next visit.
