Sea Rose Suites

Of the four hotels we stayed in on our last trip through three states, this was easily the best. The room was great, with comfortable beds and pillows, plus a spacious bathroom and living room. Parking was easy, the staff were great, and the location worked well. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The person at reception made this stay memorable. I didn’t get her name, but I think she said she was the owner’s daughter. She was genuinely kind, made time for everyone, and clearly cared about the guests. I won’t forget her. Sea Roses was a great place to stay. The rooms were lovely and very clean, with a nice balcony, and everything was close enough that I didn’t need a car. There was tea and coffee by the entrance and a small indoor pool for guests. We didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor pool. It was good value for money. I’d just come back from a month-long trip around the USA. Ogunquit was my favorite stop, with its beautiful town, lovely beach, great restaurants, and quaint feel. Definitely recommend staying here.

The Garden House was beautiful, clean, and in a great location, but it wasn’t really a standalone house. There was another unit in the basement, rented out while we were there, and the online description didn’t mention it. We hadn’t been told at booking either. We were there for a bachelorette party and chose a house because we expected to be on our own, knowing we might be rowdy. Had we known, we probably wouldn’t have stayed, or would have rented the basement unit too. The people downstairs complained about us. Staff passed that along, and we were respectful, but it would have been better to know about the unit in advance so we wouldn’t disturb anyone.

We had a comfortable, well-kept two-bedroom townhouse at the River Terrace House location of Sea Rose Suites. It was peaceful there but still close to everything in Ogunquit. Thanks to Lillie for the warm, welcoming service. We really enjoyed the stay and will be back.
