Towne Lyne Motel

In August, while Ogunquit was full of tourists, Towne Lyne Motel felt like a peaceful retreat. The backyard is beautiful and serene, and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. We accidentally left some belongings behind, and the owners helped arrange to ship them back to us. By far the best place to stay in Ogunquit.

Don’t let appearances fool you. It’s highly rated for a reason and matches its description. The price is very reasonable, and it’s friendly, clean, quiet, and peaceful. There’s a front area, plus a back door leading to a pleasant wooded lawn where you can sit and relax. I really like this place and think you will too.

Towne Lyne Motel was great. My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary in Ogunquit, and I messaged to ask if they could put flowers in the room. They were able to do it. The rooms are modern and clean, and this is a much nicer experience than a typical motel. I’d recommend it to anybody.

Snow came on the second day, so we walked along the beach, went into town square to shop, then returned by the beach. The room opened onto a green space with trees and bird feeders, and I liked having real mugs for the Keurig instead of paper cups. We chose the place because it stays open all year and were visiting for Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude. The location was handy, our room had been updated while keeping its old-fashioned charm, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
