Rodeway Inn East Lansing University Area

The price was decent, it was available on Booking.com, and it’s close to campus. Having Whole Foods right next door was a lifesaver. The room heater worked once I aimed the vent vanes away from the bed, and a staff member promptly and courteously brought me a better TV remote after the one by the entertainment stand didn’t work. The bathroom was the problem. Once I got in there, I found loose hairs all over the floor from a previous guest, so it didn’t seem to have been cleaned well. I tried to shower before leaving, but the water was freezing. At 0 degrees Fahrenheit outside, I might as well have washed in the snow.

Chris was especially helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay great. Everyone on staff was kind and fantastic. My room was nice and well kept, and for the price it was more than I’d hoped for. If you need a hotel in the East Lansing area, I’d absolutely book here.

Chris was the highlight of my stay. Even in the middle of the night, he was a ray of sunshine when I checked in late. The staff are fantastic, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. For what I paid, I got more than my money’s worth.

Melissa was working the front desk when we arrived for an MSU graduation and just needed a place for the night. She was so kind and went above and beyond. I’m really glad we chose this hotel, and I’d come back just because of the service she gave us.
