Biltmore Hotel Oklahoma

It was raining, and water poured into the hotel with nobody tending to it. The only staff member around was asleep at the front desk. He put a bucket under the leak, but it overflowed onto the floor where water was coming through the roof. I imagine it probably has mold now. The place was huge, in rough condition, and in a rough part of town. They clearly don't take care of the building or care about the tenants or guests. Really sketchy, don't stay here.

Housekeeping does its best, and the location isn't bad, not far from Westgate Marketplace or the airport. But the rooms have bed bugs, and guests leave trash in the hallways along with their dogs' mess.

The staff were all great and helped make my stay a good experience. My bed was very comfortable, and having a small fridge made it easy to store the groceries I picked up. They’re working on renovations, including the rooms. My main concern was seeing some local people wandering around the grounds despite the security presence. I hope the area keeps improving.

I was there for a week and basically had no internet: I could connect to the Wi-Fi only a few times, and each connection lasted a minute or two. There were also lots of homeless people around, and I was approached by them almost every time I went outside to vape. Bed bugs meant I had to buy spray, and when I asked for a roll of toilet paper on my sixth day, the desk said it would cost $1. The first time I asked about a room, a young woman at the desk was nice. The young man who checked me in the next day was very rude. I was asleep when the maid came by, so I didn’t get service, which was fine with me. The place wasn’t as advertised: there was no pool and initially no microwave, though they brought one that same day after I asked. My TV stopped working too, and they replaced it that day with an old, heavy set. At least its remote worked, unlike the first one. I did get my deposit back in two days, which I was glad about.
