The only real problem was that the room's A/C fan worked, but the cooling didn't. The rest of the room was very clean, and the bed was fairly comfortable. I didn't use the pool, though it was a nice extra, and the free breakfast was really good. The man who checked me in was nice and helpful with directions and ideas for things to do since I was visiting. The location is convenient, just off the interstate beside a gas station and a Waffle House.
We love the room, and Rimsha made the stay with her excellent service. She was sweet, welcoming, and knew a lot about the accommodations and plenty of other things. Since we're not from around here, we really appreciated her help. She's above and beyond, give that girl a raise! 🙌💜
There wasn't toilet paper or paper towels in the lobby bathroom for our entire stay, and we couldn't get towels because they were all being washed for two days. Breakfast was another problem. When something ran out, we were told either that they'd run out or, by an attendant, “I'm not making anymore,” with two hours of breakfast still meant to be available. One woman ignored people asking about it and acted like her English wasn't very good. We have a translator, and she did get kitchen help to put out at least more bananas. Don't recommend this place. Sleep in your car, or in the trash-filled lot next door. Maybe someone homeless will share their tent for a pack of smokes.
Cee Cee kept the breakfast buffet in good shape and was personable and fun to talk with. There was a good selection: waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels with cream cheese, biscuits and gravy, fruit, juice, and milk. Anthony at the front desk was friendly, and check-in went smoothly. The room seemed well cared for, everything worked, and the bed had plush pillows and breathable linen. The hotel is very convenient for Bricktown, and for a high-quality room the price is good compared with others nearby. The staff take their jobs seriously. There's a convenience store next door. There may be some shady characters there, but they don't roam around the hotel. Comfort Inn is installing a taller privacy fence alongside the existing one. For those reasons, I'd recommend staying here.
We booked because breakfast was advertised, but when we went down around 8:15, the warmers were empty. I thought more food might be coming and went back upstairs. At 8:30 my daughter found it still empty. She asked the front desk if they'd be putting anything out, and the girl said, “oh…I guess they forgot to cook breakfast this morning,” then went back to her phone. It's a real inconvenience for families who need to get back on the road without stopping elsewhere. The gym isn't really a gym, lol. There's a treadmill and a bench, and I don't think there were any weights. The area wasn't great, though I knew it was fairly close to downtown. When I arrived, the guy at the counter said he'd be with me in a moment, then used a razor blade to cut something out of a drawer. That was odd, and I didn't understand why he couldn't check me in first. It may be a cheap hotel, but I won't stay again. I'd spend more for a reliable place with a nicer location and staff who won't forget to cook breakfast for the whole hotel.
