I slept really well, which matters most to me, and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable after a long day. This is a distinctive hotel that exceeded my expectations. Its location works well for travelers, with access to the airport and major roads. It costs a little more, but the comfort and service make it worthwhile. I appreciate the staff’s care and attention.

I was told I wouldn’t get a refund, even though I’d only been in the room for about three hours. The way staff handled this was intimidating and completely unprofessional. I won’t stay here again. I’d booked for two adults and had a pleasant check-in with a kind, helpful woman at the front desk. The room didn’t smell very clean, but I was rushing to my son’s high school state basketball tournament and didn’t dwell on it. My cousin and her daughter were staying across the street. I called to ask if her daughter could help me with my eyelashes before we left. The desk called shortly after they arrived to check whether they were staying in the room. I explained they weren’t and that we’d leave within an hour. The employee said that was absolutely fine. Later I realized I’d forgotten my hairbrush, so my cousin and her daughter went to get one and pick up drinks from Starbucks while I got ready. When they returned, I opened the door for them, and a man came up behind them angrily, yelling for us to get out and saying visitors weren’t allowed. We were confused because the front desk had just said it was fine. He was loud and hostile, charging toward the room and shouting, “get, get, get out.” There were three women, and we were genuinely scared, so I quickly shut the door.

We left at 2:00 am and I had to drive my family all the way home to Texas that same night. After staying here, I woke with welts all over my body and a swollen eye. I’d woken in the middle of the night because I couldn’t stop scratching, and saw lots of roaches and bedbugs. My daughter was bitten too, so I got my family out immediately. The manager offered only $50 back, and the experience ruined my little girl’s birthday party. It was a nightmare. Please don’t book here or put your family through this.

For a hotel near the airport and main highway, this place is a good choice, even though it costs a little more than others. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, and I slept and rested well. It’s an unusual, distinctive hotel for America. I’m grateful to the staff for their hard work.
