Economy Hotel Plus

The staff were really helpful and nice, and breakfast was the usual complimentary spread, but good. Our room looked and smelled clean, and there was hot water for the shower. The indoor pool was open and the water was warm. I’ve stayed here before and would come back when I’m in the area.

The king room was spacious and nonsmoking, with a separate sofa bed area and parking right outside the door. There was an extra blanket for the sofa bed, plenty of bathroom products, and enough space for a small table and chairs, though there wasn’t one. Some basics were missing or didn’t work. The refrigerator was broken, and despite the extra sleeping space, we only had two bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths. The coffee setup seemed untouched and had just one cup and one packet of decaf. When I went to shower, there was no curtain, so I had to get dressed and go to the front desk to ask for one.

Our two-room suite was clean and had loads of space. There were only three of us, but it could have fit eight adults if needed. It was also surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the interstate. Breakfast was included, with a good range of choices.

I had to contact the hotel three separate times before I finally got to speak with an assistant manager about a $20 refund. When I reported the problems at checkout, nobody took down any information. That was simply unacceptable. I stayed last weekend and was extremely disappointed. The dirty, run-down room looked nothing like the website pictures, and the bedding wasn’t clean, so I slept on top of the comforter. The shower barely worked, with black electrical tape literally holding it together. Don’t trust the pictures or the hotel’s rating.
