When I stayed in 2023, it was called the Hemp Hotel, and the weekly-rate crowd seemed to have changed the clientele quite a bit. At least I could bring my motorcycle inside the room, where it wasn't left outside in the parking lot at risk of being stolen. This used to be the Red Roof Inn in 1991-92, and by 2025 it was called Sun Set Inn. These days they no longer provide room service. Rooms vary, some have roaches, and the linens are so-so. Sometimes the electricity needs to be switched back on. The cable has fewer channels now, though you can still bring a motorcycle in if it fits through the door.

The AC worked really well, but that was about the only good thing. The room hadn't been cleaned, and trash from the previous guests was still there. When we asked for towels, the man said he couldn't give us any and that we had to wash our own. He was rude, and they kept our deposit, finding reasons not to return it at checkout. The room wasn't worth the price, and the website photos were completely misleading. It feels like wasted potential, run by miserable people. I'm surprised the place hasn't been condemned.

Even for a budget hotel, this was pretty rough. There were bugs, missing lightbulbs, holes in the walls, and about an inch of space under the door. The bathtub and shower looked disgusting.

I've never stayed anywhere this bad. It smelled dirty throughout, and there were cockroaches and bedbugs. Honestly, sleeping in the car would be better. Don't even consider staying here.

Room service was pretty much nonexistent. When you ask the younger woman at the front desk for help, she looks panicked and calls for her father, and you get the same result from him. Now we know where she gets it.
