Extended Stay America Select Suites - Oklahoma City - Bethany

I checked in late last night and immediately noticed a strong mold and mildew smell. I asked the front desk if they could clean it or move me to another room. Luci, the manager, had a terrible attitude and no customer service skills. I've already filed a complaint with corporate, and I hope she loses her job because that's not how you treat someone. She also had employees working on her broken-down car in the parking lot, in a handicap spot, even though she had no handicap sticker. That took a space from someone who might need it. Very professional, if you ask me. Maybe staff should be doing their jobs instead of dealing with her personal issues. Luci tried to say the smell came from my clothes, even though I'd just done Landry and had one pair of dirty clothes. She was trying to gaslight and manipulate me instead of doing her job.

Shane and Mark look after what you need, and Shanon and Noah are the sweetest. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is good for the space. I also liked having a comfortable bed, a kitchenette with a stovetop, a full-size fridge, and lots of cabinets, which made cooking and a longer stay easy. There's hot water, a clean bathroom and bed, a guest laundry room open around the clock, and good Wi-Fi. Love this hotel.

The location is convenient for the airport and gives easy access to major highways, which was a big plus for my business stay. The manager paid close attention to what we needed and even brought cold water on a hot day. From the moment I arrived at the Extended Stay In Bethany , OK , I was impressed by the manager and staff. They were friendly, caring, and went out of their way to accommodate guests. The parking lot and entrance were spotless, and the cleanliness throughout really stood out. This is by far the best Extended Stay I've used for business. Book it, I can guarantee you'll be happy.

The GM seems to have no interest in customer service. I clearly disclosed my pets at check-in and was offered a reduced pet fee, but was later called a liar twice and told I owed hundreds more. Staff kept knocking while I was working to demand more money, even though the mistake was theirs. Another staff member who called me a liar wouldn't let me speak half the time. Being loud doesn't make you right. We were quiet and respectful throughout the stay, but were treated with hostility. There seems to be clear prejudice against guests with pets, very high pet fees, and constantly changing information. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting kindness or professionalism. The response below calls me a liar again. Don't come here if you have pets or want peace and quiet. I was offered a reduced pet rate. This has definitely taught me to record conversations, since corporations can't be trusted.
