I left after less than two hours because both rooms I was shown had roaches. First, my dog tracked something, and I found a cockroach. I called the desk to ask for another room, but there were roaches there too. I killed some and showed the man at the desk, who saw others running around, yet still wanted to verify the original room as if I hadn’t been honest. When I asked for a refund, he said the pet fee was nonrefundable and wouldn’t budge even though I’d barely been there. I reluctantly accepted so I could get out of the roach motel. There were other problems too: the franchise charged $15 per pet even though the website says pets are free, and the bathroom shower handle was very loose and hard to use. I’d also seen a tiny bug in the kitchen and ignored it, which in hindsight was another red flag. Do yourself a favor and go to La Quinta. They’re very clean, with no roaches in sight.

The front desk came across as standoffish, but the maintenance staff were great to deal with. A roach ran across the floor and died by my shoe. The unit had been updated.

There was constant noise and a lot that made me uncomfortable around this place. The area felt unsafe to me, next to a highway, with people regularly yelling or standing by their doors. Two different men tried to talk to me. The staff were VERY rude. I had surgery and didn’t get back in time; when my daughter asked for a little more time for me, they threatened to call the police, which scared her badly. They also charged me for my service dog, and there were roaches. The room smelled like pot from the next door pothead despite being smoke free, and the ventilation was very bad. At night, while my mom slept, I heard constant tapping, then hangers dinging even though I’d taken them down, and once scratching on the wall while the dog was on the bed nowhere near it. My mom was eating in the kitchen when the dog stared beside her and growled. I saw an orb of light fly past me, either upward or toward my sleeping mom, and I wasn’t going to check. I also heard buttons being pushed on headphones and had my stuff thrown on the floor. The whole place felt unsettling, with angry spirits. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT PASSGO, DO NOT COLLECT $200. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

I was disappointed by the cleanliness and the extra cost. The bathroom wasn’t clean, with a man’s shirt behind the door, a large dead bug by the bathtub, and very little toilet paper. The kitchen was somewhat clean, but the microwave needs replacing or a proper cleaning. The coffee pot had mold, and I didn’t bother checking the other appliances. The room was overpriced, especially with the pet fee. Also, pets aren’t free for (2) pets, and this is the only Motel 6 I know of that charges for them.

We’ve stayed here three times this year and plan to come back. The rooms are quiet, clean, neat, and comfortable, with lots of space, a huge kitchenette, and a full-size fridge. The owners and staff are great, and the housekeepers are especially friendly and polite. Weekly rates are much lower than the motels around Midwest City, OK. Thanks for making our stays comfortable.
