Priceline took my money and let me book a room at a place that had been condemned in August. It was dangerous. In the pictures I’m trying to post, you can see someone’s feet in a room where they’re sleeping, and most of the rooms didn’t have doors. Seeing where they’d sent me in daylight was frightening, and I felt relieved to be out. They charged me about $70 and only offered a discount on a future room, which I won’t be getting. I want my money back and people should know this is happening. How many properties are they charging us for that don’t even exist? I honestly feel lucky to be alive today.

The front desk had to come back with a blow torch to heat the doorknob every time I returned to my room, or I couldn’t get in. That was incredibly annoying. I paid $500 for a week, with a third party covering the room, but it was in my name only. A couple of days later, while I was away, motel staff made a key for that third party and let him into my room and all my belongings. I also didn’t have my service dog with me on the day I checked in. When I brought him on day two, the motel refused to give him service animal rights. They charged a deposit and $25 each night, which is illegal, and wouldn’t even look at his official documentation. This place sucks and the staff are rude.

We stopped here around midnight during a 37-hour road trip with small kids. About 20 minutes after lying down, we got back up because the room smelled so awful. I’d thought it was the cleaner, but it was feces on the walls. The toilets weren’t clean, the bathroom was nasty, and there were clean towels and a dirty tube, with hair on the toilet tank and tub. Half the bathroom wall had been kicked in. There were roaches, though at least no bed bugs. The fridge was dirty and there were burn holes in the comforters. The air conditioner was stuck on fan and couldn’t be adjusted, leaving the room at 90 degrees. At checkout around 6 a.m., my daughter lost her play phone, which had no minutes. While searching the room, I found empty needles under the kids’ mattress. The front desk didn’t care. I’m reporting them to the health department and Better Business Bureau. Do not stay here.

We stayed here for nine nights and won’t ever come back. They charged outrageous pet fees and kept half of my $50 deposit. When I called the manager to ask why, he accused me of stealing towels I’d never received. Housekeeping came by and asked if we needed anything, so I handed her both of our towels. She never brought replacements, and then they charged me for towels. The manager was extremely unprofessional and yelled at me over the phone, saying it was my fault.

I had a handicap placard and used a walker during my visit, but the desk clerk decided I wasn’t disabled because I didn’t use a wheelchair. They wouldn’t release the disability accessible room to me without a wheelchair and service animal, while happily charging me more, refusing a refund, and telling me to get help with the stairs. The clerk was very rude. I don’t know if that’s how it works in India, but in the US you have to have handicap access. I’m going to file complaints with the ADA.
