Aloft Oklahoma City Quail Springs

The location is great, but the rooms are cheap and have thin walls. Jenny, the property manager, is never there when I need her to write a simple statement for booking.com. They also need to answer an email so $192 can be released back to me for a canceled booking. Buyer beware. I’ll never come back here or stay at another place owned by this group. Good job!

The reception area smelled like pot before I even got inside, and the room was musty. The hallway smelled like locker rooms, with trash piled up. We had to beg for towels to bathe and went two days without any, so we bought detergent and washed our old towels. Our beds were never made, and the trash wasn’t taken out during our stay of over a week. Staff were rude, and we weren’t the only guests dealing with this. Worst hotel stay ever. I’d have been better off at a pay-by-the-hour motel.

Quail Springs mall is close, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was nice, the bed comfy, and the shower was a good size with lots of hot water. Christine at the bar makes a good martini and has some local beers too. There’s a pool and a small fire pit on the patio. I’d come back if I’m in the area.

I’m on my first night of a three-night business stay and already trying to work out how to leave. The woman at the front desk is incredibly friendly, but she seems to be the only staff member. The bar and restaurant have no one working them. The light over the vanity is out, and the front desk person can only “try and help,” since there’s no maintenance here. The TV keeps crashing when I try to stream or even move past the hotel home screen. This hotel is a mess.
