We got a good night’s sleep thanks to the well-working mini-split, and the shower had adequate hot water and pressure. There was soap and conditioning shampoo. Just a heads-up, the regular coffee hadn’t been replenished by morning, so only decaf was available. This was the first stop on our Route 66 anniversary road trip, and the inn is adorable, with a fun retro feel and no-frills vintage style. Check-in and communication were easy. Our room was cozy, about standard size for the era, but clean and everything worked. The furnishings and decor suited the place. There was a small fridge, microwave, and electric kettle. It’s near the Plaza District, with good shopping and dining nearby, and we had dinner at The Mule. The busy road alongside the property brought some traffic noise, though not enough to bother our sleep. I’d recommend it to people who like MCM architecture and the vibe. Just expect a clean, pleasant, fun, affordable night’s stay, not a 4-star resort.

We got to check in almost three hours early, and the front desk girl was really helpful. They also have contact-free check-in. The room was cute, and the inside and outside have a great vibe, though the exterior isn’t maintained very well. It wasn’t bad for the price, and there’s a short drive to fun spots like Plaza District, 23rd st, and paseo. The room didn’t smell great, housekeeping could’ve done better, and there was a box of leftover food in the fridge, as a few other reviews mentioned. They don’t put trash bags in the rooms to be eco-friendly, but that made me worry about sanitation, especially in the bathroom. I was born and raised in OKC, and the location isn’t the best, so if you’re traveling alone, be cautious.

Classen Inn is a good-value motel for a straightforward, comfortable stay. The rooms are functional and clean, with the usual basics like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and toiletries. It’s conveniently located near main roads and local amenities, and works well if you just need a simple place to rest without paying premium rates. Guests often mention comfortable beds and linens, and housekeeping generally keeps things tidy.

The beds were incredible, memory foam and the best sleep I’ve had since childhood. I don’t think I’ve ever slept on a mattress that good. ❤️ the room. This was exactly what we wanted: exterior doors, a quiet area, and a superb owner. Entry to the rooms is by keypad, no cards. We booked three days, with easy access to everything we planned to do in town.

I enjoyed the unusual Route 66 motor lodge vibe, with its 60s design and light renovation. The self-service check-in was easy, and I felt fine sitting in the outdoor seating area having a smoke. You're not supposed to smoke on the property, though, so don't tell. There was hardly anyone around while I was there, and I was careful to police my cigarette butts. It’s an industrial-feeling area, and the occasional homeless person walked by, but they didn’t bother me. Someone had left their Apple+ account signed in, or maybe it belonged to the owners, so I got to watch five episodes of Pluribus. If you like quirky places with a vibe or Route 66 spots, this one’s for you.
